Another Life Changed
From Rita

I have been listening to WAY-FM since 1994. At that time I just got out of a local drug treatment facility. They told me in order to be successful with my treatment I had to change the people, places and things in my life. I even changed my music!
With the help of God, it will be 14 years on May 10, 2008 since the last time I found it necessary to use any substance to fill up my God shaped whole.
WAY-FM has been a constant in my life and in my sobriety! The music keeps that whole in my soul full of hope, faith and love!
I came from the streets of Fort Lauderdale. Today I am a CPA and a new foster mom!
Thank GOD for WAY-FM!
Hey! We love hearing from you, about you... about how your life has been changed and what you think.

I just wanted to thank you for your radio station. I am 20 years old and I was saved at the age of 13 and baptized a week before my 20th birthday. Your radio station helps me get into a good mood everyday and the songs that you play remind me that God is the number one source of the day. Even during the daily temptation that I go through you help me decide what is right through the music you play. You not only reach out to teens but you are reaching out to the adults. Thank you and May the Lord keep blessing you.

I am a single mom of 2 boys ages 2 and 7. When I was pregnant with my second child I found out my husband was having an affair with my brothers wife. After a very messy divorce we were left high and dry financially. Our house was in foreclosure and legal bills were mounting.
After I lost the last 15K I had to my name in an investment that went bad. I fell on my face and repented to the Lord. I have now been a Christian for 11 years but it took me until just last year to be obedient. Through the efforts and teachings of WAY-FM and my church I have been able to see a glimmer of hope and KNOW that the Lord is providing all of mine and my children’s needs.
Our application for food stamps is pending, my kids are on Medicaid, and I work 5 jobs and still can not make ends meet. My church has given us food and friends have given us clothes. Every time I am down and out the perfect song in on WAY-FM to lift my spirits and allow me to praise Jesus for all that I have now, then I am reminded of Jer 29:11
I can not tell you how many times I have been driving in my little ford focus with the steering wheel shaking and noises rumbling around that I crank up a song and sing my heart out to Jesus with tears running down my face.
I pray that someone will be able to make a pledge in my place. I pray for continued listener support and I pray God’s hand is on WAY-FM for it is there HE is glorified.

The Mercy Me song ’God with Us’ has greater meaning to me today after what I experienced on March 4, 2008. You see I was at Wendy’s yesterday when the shooting took place. I was taking my lunch break from work and just happened to be in the right place at the right time for God to use me. There are a lot of details, but I will share only a few. I pulled into a parking space beside the south side door to the restaurant and was making my way to the entrance when I heard a popping sound from inside the store. I was less than 20 feet from the entrance when several customers came running out yelling, "He’s got a gun and shooting people." At first, I thought about running, but something said stay, so I began screaming to other customers in the parking lot to get across the street to safety. Mrs. Vasquez and her little boy came around the building and she was about to go in shock so I assisted her to a safe place and began trying to calm her down as she wanted to go back into the store to find her husband. Another lady who had been shot in the arm, I helped as well. I guess overall I just tried to get everyone calmed down and help the injured until EMT’s arrived. After the fact, I can truly say that God was with me and kept me from entering that store. I thank God and would like to thank WAY-FM for playing songs that truly touch the heart in ways that secular music can’t touch!

A job opportunity for my husband recently moved my family from Jupiter to southern California. My family and I have been listeners of Way FM for years now, and it is one of the things we miss most about South Florida! I am now teaching high school here, and thanks to your website, your message is being broadcast via the internet in my classroom (between classes of course!) on a daily basis! My students always ask what I am listening to, and I share it with them. I know I am not the only one who listens via the web-please continue to thank your listeners for their support of this radio station. It truly is touching people’s lives- in South Florida and around the globe!

I am a Mom of 3 children and I have been a Christian for 15 years now coming from the Jewish faith. My 18 yr old son was in Jail for 5 months and I thought my world was going to fall apart. Everyday I made it through as soon as I committed myself to only listening to WAY-FM, praying and support from my friends and Pastors. The words in all the songs hit my heart and gave me strength daily. I would search the web for the lyrics print them out and sent it to my son in Jail. I also go to church 2 days a week and my ladies bible study group. He used to tell me he would cry from the lyrics and the letters I sent of just my heart being poured out to him from God. Then he would share it with his cellmates and they would also cry out. GOD WORKS MIRACLES IN OUR LIVE IF WE ALLOW HIM TO. He is now home with me with the 2nd chance GOD has given to him. I pray daily that he will stay plugged in. I gladly give to a station that prepares lives for the Kingdom and helps other when they feel totally lost. You are a blessing in my life!

My husband and I lost our 17 month old daughter Sarah about two years ago in a tragic accident. I really didn’t know how I could go on living even though I had two other children. We somehow made it to church that Sunday morning and gave our lives to the Lord. Along with a new life with the Lord we discovered WAY-FM I cannot tell you how awesome this radio station is the music encourages us everyday and frankly speaking I just can’t imagine life without WAY-FM as a part of it. Thank you so much to everyone who is a part of this station. I know we are just two little people but this station is a part of our healing and we are truly thankful.

First of all, I want to thank all of you, because you have been a great support for my life. I started listening to WAY-FM about 4 years ago, and I still do even from where I am (Colombia South America). We all go through rough times and I’ve experienced the biggest one in my life, I believe, when I was forced to leave the US after 6 years about 5 months ago and take care of all my immigration papers from my birth country. I had to leave everything behind just holding God’s hand and waiting for the BIG blessings that He has for my life. I am expecting with God’s blessings to be back in the US next year to continue with school, work, and off course playing base for my church in Boynton Beach. WAY-FM encourages me to keep going and not to forget about God’s promises. Even though it may not seem like it, as long as you are walking with the Lord you are going from "glory to gloryƒ¢â¬Â and "strength to strength."

My life has been in such turmoil since my husband left about 6 months ago...I happened to turn on the radio for the first time in 8 months, and I came upon WAY-FM. What an uplifting experience. I know that God is always there and He was there for me when I needed Him the most. WAY-FM is the only station my son and I listen to now and we sing along every time. We love it. My son has also placed his trust in our Lord. It has been a real blessing in our lives and we want to thank you and praise the Lord for such a wonderful radio station. God Bless You All.

I have been a listener for several years during many trials and tough times. I have been a believer all my life. I was a single mom for 7 years and determined to raise my son in a Christian home. My son has grown up listening to you everyday. I have always known it would make an impact on him and most recently I have begun to see that impact surface at an age (9) when he is just starting to have to make choices about things that can be influenced negatively including the fact that his father is not a believer. He chooses to listen to you, he chooses to go to church and church groups and a Christian school...he chooses God...and you help to make that happen everyday. Thank you so much.

I started listening to WAY-FM a couple of years ago, trying to get closer to God and trying to figure out what to do with my life. A couple months after listening, my entire family was asked to go to church and we’ve been going ever since. This was back in January of 2006. My dad was able to quit drinking alcohol by the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In between August of 2005 till August of 2007 my life has changed tremendously. I am now attending Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, following the path that God has chosen to lead me.
This radio station is a huge blessing!
God Bless you richly!

First of all, thank you for your ministry and love for the Lord.
When I was going through the most difficult time in my life last year at this time, I turned on Way Fm and God used your radio station to speak truth and love into my life. Every time I got into the car and turned on the radio I heard what I needed to hear to get me through that day. I was not able to be consistent in my quiet time with God, stay in His Word, so He used your radio station and the blessed and gifted Christian artists to minister to me. My trials have served to strengthen me, increase my faith and dependence on our Lord.
Thank you so much for doing what you do!!!

I just want to thank you guys for being here! I’ve been going through a really tough time now. My husband and I have split up; we don’t know if we are going to through the divorce or if God has something better for us. But in the days where things are not good and I feel that I am by myself I tune into WAY-FM and you guys always have something to lift me up. My 9 month old also enjoys listening to you in the car and at home, when I am driving I look back and I can see him smiling at the songs. Thanks again way fm for being there for me!

When I was ten my dad left and I really had no idea where he went. I was depressed for three years because I did everything I could but I still could not reach him. My mom seemed to be doing everything in her power to keep us apart. Then my best friend introduced me to WAY-FM. Since then I have found my dad and I go to church at least three times a week. Thank you so much for being there. You helped me through the toughest time ever!

A few weeks ago I was not centered on Christ. Then my friend told me about Way FM. Ever since then I can’t stop listening to Christian music. You guys at Way FM really changed my life. Before I listened to Way FM there was this empty gap in me. Now my whole body is filled with the feeling of love from Jesus Christ.

I wake up every morning and turn on my radio to WAY-FM. There have been times when I don’t think I can get through the day but somehow, just the right song plays and brings me to tears. I know the Lord is with me always and encouraging me to continue through life serving him. I want to thank you, for each day you play music, each moment you touch a heart and enlighten a spirit.

I have been listening to WAY-FM every day for a while now. The main times I listen are when I am driving, because where I live I can’t get it at home. There is a lot going on in my life being a single mom of a five year old. Some days I don’t want to get up but when I get in the car and turn on the radio and hear the music of Way-FM I feel better. It is also encouraging when I hear my son start singing along with the music because there are so much more negative things he could be listening to and singing. I want to thank you for always playing music that is uplifting and encouraging.

My husband and I had just recently separated. It was about 2:00 A.M. and I was driving around looking for him when a song came on the radio. I still don’t know the name of it, but it was directly for me from God.
Since my husbands infidelity a few years ago, my heart has never been the same. Just as the words to the song said, "no one knows me anymore", "I built up walls around me, but underneath my skin".... "I was made in God’s image and He is with Me, I am beautiful underneath it all".
I had a bitter heart and I realized the walls needed to come down. The words to that song helped me to see more clearly that it was time to give this to the Lord and go home.
The next day I asked my husband to come home and we are, with God’s guidance and wisdom, working through this very difficult journey in our marriage.
Thank you for being on the air at this time. It is very comforting to know that you are there, on the air to encourage and inspire the downcast and burdened people even at that hour.

Hey Brant......Where I work my boss is a believer, I used to be.
We listen to another station in the morning but in the afternoon we get
WAY-FM....its just him and I there so its pretty cool.....I’ve been away
from the "church" for quite a while now, but your station and (Brant
especially) almost make being a Christian cool again....you may not like
this, but I’ve long thought that most Christians are quite boring, dull to
be exact and are weak people....those are just a few of the reasons I
left....but Brant makes it sound cool and fun, in fact the whole station
sounds like a great place. I just want you to know that since I started working
with a great man, I listen online and its the number 1 preset on my vehicles radio.....
So, why am I sending this? Well, I really enjoy listening to you guys and
just wish I could listen in the morning to your show...I feel like hanging out
with you and listening to you take on God/Jesus, you make it real to me
just by listening to you....thanks and keep up the great stuff!

Even though my parents divorced 8 years ago, I’m still going through pain that comes with the splitting of a family. "Never Alone" by BarlowGirl reminds me that even when my mom and dad may not be there for me, God will never leave me. It’s amazing how God can comfort us through music. That shows the importance of having WAY-FM only a click and a tune away.

I first started listening to WAY-FM in the car with my friend and her family. I loved the music. I had been thinking about suicide and running away and leaving my family for quite sometime. I thought I had no one at all. I believed in God, but I blamed Him for my pain. One day I was on the floor crying my eyes out, wondering when I would finally be happy. Then I turned my radio on and "Me and Jesus" came on and I knew that God was there and He wanted me not to feel pain. He wanted me to know I was never alone. WAY-FM has helped me stick in the right crowds, cherish the things I have, and grow to know and love God more and more. Thank you so much.

When I first moved to Florida I was going through my divorce and I was completely alone. I called myself a Christian but I had not idea what that meant. My friend told me about WAY-FM and I decided to give it a try. After hearing the messages from the songs, DJs, and the "Impact Partners", I knew this was no ordinary radio station.
Every now and then, this one particular song would play. Every time this song was played, I would understand a little more of it’s meaning. At a time when I needed to feel love the most, this song showed me that no man on this earth could ever love me the way Jesus loves me.
There are so many songs that have special meaning to different people and for different reasons. I decided to support WAY-FM during last year’s Spring Sharathon and I believe it’s the best financial decision I have ever made. Every morning I wake up to Brant, listen all day at work, at home, and in my car. Thank you so much for this essential ministry.

I’ve been a Christian for most of my life, but I seem to jump in and back out again with my walk. It’s not that I don’t love God, I do, and it’s not like I don’t know the benefits of being a Christian...I do. It’s just that sometimes I lose my way...again.
Having a song in my heart has proven extremely beneficial to me in that I realize that music isn’t "just music" as some people may think. It does seep into your mind, creates visuals, sets tones, and influences your actions...You really do get out what you put in.
WAY-FM has been such an encouragement to me washing my mind and heart in the word through inspirational Godly music daily. This is exactly the conduit I need on the road less traveled. Thanks so much for providing a spiritual atmosphere; it definitely makes my walk a little lighter.
