The Tom Vadas Memorial "Dodge for the Cure" Old School Dodgeball Tournament

This is a fundraising event to benefit the Oncology Inpatient Unit at Martin Memorial Medical Center. The tournament is to take place at Jensen Beach High School. There will be middle school, high school and adult level teams. Team registration is $80.00 per team. Entrance fee is $2.00 per person. There will be raffles, prizes, food, music and, fun for all ages. The event is in memory of Tom Vadas and his 16 year fight with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Tom had a vision to create a "home away from home" feeling for cancer patients and their visiting families.

Marriage Encounter Weekend

The South Florida chapter of UME will be having a Marriage Encounter May 16th - 18th. The weekend is designed to transform (with Gods help) a good marriage into a great marriage! Dr. James Dobson said Shirley and I attended a Marriage Encounter and it proved to be one of the highlights of my life. It will be held at the Holiday Inn in Plantation (couples stay & eat at the hotel) Registration fee is $80 per couple, but the cost of the hotel & meals is covered by couples who have chosen to contribute to this ministry.

This is a fun filled morning designed to raise funds for the CEF Lighthouse Chapter. Participants of all age levels are welcome to win all sorts of prizes!!
