Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale is not a building, not a person, not a religious institute. It is a vibrant body of believers through which God is able to work and be glorified. This body of believers, more than 18,000 strong, call the property located on the northwest corner of 21st Avenue and Cypress Creek Road their church home. This property is merely a "headquarters" for the real ministry that happens here. The work that God uses His people for stretches to the ends of the earth through the many ministries that reach out to the lost and hungry among our fellow man. First and foremost, Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale is an outstretched hand, offered to reflect the love that Christ has shown to us.

In our Community of Faith, you’ll hear a lot about "the avenues." In fact, we believe there are four Avenues to a full and enriching daily experience with God. First of all, we all meet in a place called Community Center, which simply represents our prayer and worship together. Then, we travel from Avenue to Avenue in our quest to become more like Jesus. For example, on Growing Avenue, we learn to grow into the image of Christ by following His example and understanding His Word. On Giving Avenue, we put our talents, gifts, skills and passions into His service. On Going Avenue, we take all that we experience in our own Community of Faith and share it with those beyond our immediate circle of influence. Like we said, these Avenues are just another way of looking at how every believer should be well-balanced and intentional in his or her Christian walk.
